Catch Curve Announces New Licensee to AudioFAX Patent Portfolio and Infringement Suit Against Biscom, Inc.

Atlanta, Ga.-October 25, 2005-Catch Curve, Inc., an intellectual property development and licensing firm, today announced that Castelle, Inc. [NASDAQ: CSTL] has taken a license to the AudioFAX™ patent portfolio. Under the license agreement, Castelle has obtained a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the AudioFAX technology. Specific terms of the license agreement were not disclosed.

Catch Curve also announced today that it has filed a new patent infringement lawsuit under the AudioFAX portfolio against Biscom, Inc. Catch Curve is seeking monetary damages for past infringement and an injunction to prohibit Biscom from continuing to infringe against the AudioFAX patents.

The AudioFAX patents cover a broad range of inventions that incorporate fax store-and-forward technologies. These technologies are used in products and services such as fax-to-email, fax broadcasting, fax-on-demand and "real-time" fax over the Internet.

"Catch Curve is excited to add Castelle as a new licensee," said Michael McLaughlin, the president of Catch Curve. "The strength and validity of these patents has been confirmed many times over, and Catch Curve intends to continue to vigorously pursue licensing opportunities in the marketplace."

Since its inception, the AudioFAX Patent Licensing Program has licensed this technology to over 30 companies, including AT&T, MCI, Cisco, Sprint, WorldCom, NEC, Cable & Wireless, 3Com, j2 Global Communications, Mitel, Captaris, Intervoice, LogicaCMG, Siemens, Premiere Global Services (formerly PTEK), Glenayre, and Interactive Intelligence, among others.
